Our Warranty

We want our riders to enjoy their bikes for as long as they own them. That's why we test our bikes beyond industry standards so you can have peace of mind every time you head out on your ride. But if you do need support, every Cervélo frame comes with a limited lifetime warranty for the original owner. Certain products other than frames are also covered by our warranty.

Limited Warranty

Commencing September 1, 2025, Cervélo USA Inc. (Cervélo) offers the following limited warranty:

Lifetime Frame Warranty

Each Cervélo bicycle frame purchased after September 1, 2025 is warranted by Cervélo against defects in workmanship and materials for as long as the frame is owned by the original owner, excluding paint and decals.

Lifetime Carbon Parts Warranty

Cervélo forks, carbon handlebars, stems, and seatposts purchased after September 1, 2025 are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for so long as the part is owned by the original owner, excluding paint and decals.

No-Fault Replacement

In the event of a non-warranty situation with respect to a Cervélo product purchased after September 1, 2025, Cervélo will make replacement parts available to the original owner at a reduced charge.

Cervélo customers are encouraged to register their products at the time of purchase here. 

Older Products

Each Cervélo bicycle frame purchased after January 1, 2004 and prior to September 1, 2025 is warranted by Cervélo against defects in workmanship and materials for as long as the frame is owned by the original owner, excluding paint and decals. (Cervélo bicycle frames purchased prior to January 1, 2004 came with a four-year limited warranty.) Products other than frames purchased prior to September 1, 2025 are excluded from our warranty.

This is the sole and exclusive warranty offered by Cervélo. This warranty is expressly limited to either the repair or replacement of the defective product with those of equal or greater value. No other remedies are available under the warranty. The decision to repair or replace a product shall be in the sole discretion of Cervélo. Discontinued products may not be available for replacement. The warranty for damage arising from accidents, crashes, and other impacts is limited to offered replacement at a reduced charge as set forth above for no-fault replacement. Additional exclusions apply, see below.

Frame definition: A Cervélo bicycle frame consists of the carbon fiber frame structure and all non-removable features or components.

Cervélo does not warrant against:

  • Damage caused by normal wear and tear or improper assembly, repair, or maintenance.
  • Installation of parts or accessories not originally intended for use with (or which are incompatible with) the frame or bicycle sold. 
  • Damage or failure caused by accident, misuse, abuse or neglect. 
  • Any modification of any frame or component. 

Cervélo’s warranty does NOT apply to:

  • Frames/Bikes purchased secondhand and/or used prior to September 1, 2025.
  • Frames/Bikes purchased from any source other than an Authorized Cervélo dealer.
  • 3rd party components not manufactured by Cervélo.

Step 1: Go to your local Cervélo dealer.

Step 2: Bring your Proof of Purchase (proof of original ownership) + bike/frame.

Step 3: Dealer will pursue warranty consideration directly with Cervélo Warranty Team. 

Additional Limitations, Exclusions, and Disclaimers

All claims under this warranty must be made through an authorized Cervélo dealer. Purchase Cervélo product only through authorized Cervélo retailers. This is your assurance of original Cervélo quality. Please visit our retailer locator to identify your preferred, authorized Cervélo retailer. All authorized retailers are listed on this site. Cervélo's warranty policy is valid only for Cervélo products purchased through authorized Cervélo retailers. Cervélo products purchased through any channel other than an authorized Cervélo retailer are not covered by this warranty. 

The warranty does not cover labor costs, paint, decals, or other finishes or cosmetic features, normal wear and tear, or damage from commercial use. The warranty is void if the part is modified from its original condition in any manner or used outside normal intended use, as determined by Cervélo in its sole discretion. Any implied warranties (including without limitation the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) which may not be disclaimed under applicable law are limited in duration to the period set forth above or the applicable statute of limitations, whichever is shorter.

THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY OFFERED BY CERVÉLO. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL OTHER EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CERVÉLO OR ANY OF ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES (OR ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE SUCCESSORS OR ASSIGNS) BE RESPONSIBLE OR OTHERWISE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE PURCHASE, USE, OR OWNERSHIP OF ITS PRODUCTS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR ECONOMIC LOSSES, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, PRODUCT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY.

Some states and countries do not allow some or all of the foregoing exclusions or limitations, so they may not apply to you. If any portion of the foregoing warranty (or the exclusions or limitations thereto) is deemed invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law, it shall be deemed modified so as to be valid and enforceable to the maximum extent consistent with such law. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state and country to country.
