OUR AMBASSADORS

From gravel to tri to road, our Ambassadors are a group of athletes that inspire us every day and embody all the best parts of what it means to ride a bicycle.

Caroline Dezendorf

As a gravel and cyclocross athlete, Caroline's love of racing stems from her love of adventure and community. In 2019, she won 3 UCI Cyclocross races and finished top 10 in the US. She loves sharing her passion for cycling with today's youth and has worked extensively with NICA High School teams to get more girls on bikes.

Chris Hall

Chris has been someone who throws himself into every challenge with a smile and is always looking to support charitable causes important to him by testing his body to the absolute extreme. Whether it's riding across countries, or racing in extreme conditions, he hopes to inspire others to try something new and out of their comfort zone.

Fergus Crawley

With a background in Rugby, then powerlifting, Fergus transitioned into training for endurance challenges as part of his first fundraising campaign for Movember in 2018. Fergus is currently training for the Celtman Xtri, followed by the Norseman all whilst maintaining his top-end strength.

Fred Van Lierde

Frederik has been riding Cervelo since 2008. He won the Ironman World Championship in 2013 and 5 Ironman Nice titles in his career. He’s jumped to the other side of things practicing ‘active listening’ as a Triathlon Coach and Assistant Physical Training Instructor.

John McAvoy

John is currently a professional triathlete, however, he was previously a high-profile armed robber who found redemption through the power of sport. He is committed to using his story of rehabilitation to help and inspire others to change their lives for the better.

KIERAN ANDREWS

Kieran is a lifetime cyclist who is always looking for a good time on hard-packed and fast-rolling gravel. If you don’t find him doing long miles on the trail, you’ll find him advocating for the local community on topics around tourism and urban planning.

LISA BENTLEY

In the course of her career, Lisa has won 11 IRONMAN races, 11 IRONMAN 70.3 races, several top 5 finishes at the IRONMAN World Championships, represented Canada on multiple National Teams and at the Pan American Games and was ranked top 5 in the world.

MATTHIAS SCHINDLER

Matthias lives and loves an active lifestyle. His strength is discipline but passion and joy are also crucial to him. Pushing his own limits and enjoying it, sums up what motivates him most.

MATT LIETO

Matt Lieto took the long road to be at the top of the gravel scene, losing 85 lbs in his 20’s, then racing triathlon professionally in his 30’s, and now pushing around the youngsters in his…well, never mind. Matt’s joy for exploration has had him riding gravel for decades, and now he uses that experience, and his old man strength to find new challenges to keep things spicy.

NATT WILLIAMS

Natt Williams, a multi-disciplined solo adventure cyclist that relishes long days in the saddle, making new memories on his bike, visiting new places—the more remote the better—and would pick 4-season insulation over 4-star accommodation every time.

REESE RULAND

Reese enjoys spending her free time exploring beautiful (and remote) zones on her bike. When she's not riding, she's planning her next adventure and likely taking photos of her Frenchie, Loaf.

RICHARD THOMPSON

Richard is a husband and a father of 3 boys and a professional ultra-distance triathlete. He is the 2018 World Champion and broke the world record for Ultraman Triathlon in a time of 21:21:14. He is on a journey to be the first person to attempt to break the 20-hour barrier for the Ultraman Triathlon in 2022.

SALETA CASTRO

An elite racer since the age of fifteen, Saleta thrives in long-distance triathlon and looks forward to a year of hitting PRs and racing around the world.

SAM HOLNESS

Sam is an athlete with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) from South London. In 2021 and beyond he will be tackling the world’s toughest and most inspirational endurance sports feats, starting with being the first autistic athlete to complete a full Ironman Triathlon. Sam is aiming to inspire ASD, BAME and wider communities to explore their own potential and overcome perceived limitations.

SIKA HENRY

Sika is the first Female African American Pro Triathlete. After a traumatic cycling accident in 2019, Sika came back five months later and placed 6th (female amateur) at IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta and crossed the finish line at the IRONMAN World Championships in Kona two weeks later. From collegiate high jumper to two-time marathon winner, Sika looks forward to joining the pro ranks.

TIM REA

An Australian long course Professional Triathlete currently living in Miami, FL, Tim started the sport late into his 20’s, is already an Ironman 70.3 Champion. His love of riding bikes began with a Cervelo and to now be working with the company is a dream come true.

TOUR DE TIETEMA

What happens when you give two amateurs, with no prior experience, the perfect bike and all the circumstances of a pro cyclist? Former pro Bas Tietema takes his friends (and now teammates) Devin van der Wiel and Josse Wester on a journey through the world of cycling and they are documenting it all on YouTube. Currently finding their ways in the lowest categories of amateur cycling, but don't be fooled, these guys have World Tour ambitions.
