8 Ways to Support Your Local Cervélo Retailer

When the going gets tough the tough get creative. Some retailers are set up for online transactions others are finding their way. Whether curb-side pickups are an option, or even deliverylet’s support where we can, in our own creative ways.

1. Snag a gift card for yourself or even better, surprise one of your mates whose wheel you’ve missed the most.

2. Make 2020 the year of the ultimate snack shelf and stock up on the essentials. Imagine having a well-stocked cupboard of bars, gels and recovery drinks just waiting to fuel your next day-long send.

3. Rep your shop in selfies, on stories--sport their jersey on your trainer ride. Tag them. Tag us. We’d love to repost and show them some love.

4. You know that bike you’ve been thinking about since last spring? Now’s the time to call your local retailer and make a move. #newbikeday is always the best day, and nothing can ever change that.

5. Give yourself something to look forward to and pre-order some new, yet to be released gear. If you’re stoked on the launch of a new shoe, wheelset, or wetsuit, call your local shop to see if you can be one of the first to nab it.

6. Get a tune-up, it is spring cleaning season after all. Many shops are offering curbside drop-off and pick-up to minimize viral exposure and are taking extra steps to sanitize before, during and after servicing your bike. However, if your shop is currently closed, reach out to the bike mechanics who work there. They may appreciate the opportunity to work from home (or your driveway).

7. Say, ‘Thank you.” In many cases, businesses are working at a dramatically reduced capacity. A simple “Thank You” can go a long way in spreading a little gratitude and goodwill. Which is something we could all use a little more of right now. Speaking of which:

8. Wash your hands. Seriously. Just do it.
