R5-CX
WORLDS WINNER
From Marianne Vos winning a rainbow jersey in the first year of R5-CX’s existence, to Wout Van Aert dominating kerstperiode races, to Fem Van Empel three-peating World Championships from 2023 to 2025, R5-CX has delivered more podiums and wins per outing than any bike we’ve ever made. It’s the platonic ideal of a cyclocross bike—simple, efficient, and incredibly fast. There’s an enormous amount of clearance for mud, a seatpost that won’t twist in a crash, and tidy internal routing to keep the elements at bay.
THE ULTIMATE CX FRAME
The D-shaped seat post (with double clamps, stock), not only adds compliance but was a specific request from Wout and Marianne to keep the saddle facing forward in the event of a crash. All cables route internally, and the frame is only compatible with electronic drivetrains to limit grit and water ingress.

Three quarter view drawer
R5-CX uses the same D-shaped seatpost as the R5 frame, which was a specific request from World Champions, Marianne Vos and Wout van Aert. It adds a bit of compliance, but also keeps the saddle from twisting in the event of a crash.
The clearance in the R5-CX frame is similar to that of our Áspero gravel bikes, but since cyclocross races mandate a 33mm tire, even the stickiest of mud should clear the frame to help keep you rolling.
