Le nouveau Soloist est là. Pour ceux qui aiment rouler vite, attaquer quand l'occasion se présente et tirer le meilleur d'eux-mêmes... Le nouveau Soloist est plus rapide, mais aussi plus léger – avec ses 6,86 kg dès la sortie du carton.
ONE PEACE OF MIND
Le nouveau Soloist est équipé d’un cockpit monobloc de dernière génération, associant cintre et potence en une seule pièce pour améliorer les performances du vélo comme celles du cycliste. Dans le cadre du développement de ce nouveau modèle, nous avons élargi notre gamme de combinaisons de longueurs de potence et de largeurs de cintre afin que chaque cycliste puisse trouver un réglage au plus près de sa position idéale. Tout acheteur d’un nouveau Soloist peut demander, sans frais supplémentaires, un cockpit monobloc dans une autre taille.
Three quarter view drawer
Water bottles are round, which is not a shape that air likes to pass by smoothly. The aero bottles stand up on their own, so you can fill them easily, and add drink mix without juggling, and the cage takes a round bottle. Round bottles add 6.3 Watts of drag to the bike, the Soloist aero bottles add 2.
The frame’s surface area increased by almost 3%, while the fork’s surface area increased by over 8%. But despite these increases, we were able to save weight both on the frame and fork relative to the outgoing Soloist. At 6.86kg out of the box, you’re bang on the UCI weight limit.
A deeper head tube, deeper fork legs, and a BB junction that shields the rear wheel all makes for 8.6 watts of drag savings over the outgoing Soloist. With an additional 4.3 watts on offer when you use the aero bottles (more on that later).
