Áspero

Dusty Unicorn Quarry Aurora

HAUL ASS, NOT CARGO

The Original Go-Fast Gravel Bike

Every Cervélo is a complex, highly-engineered machine, designed to help make you faster. Below are some answers to questions that we frequently get from riders, but if your question isn't on the list, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

The current Áspero uses SRAM’s Universal Derailleur Hanger, or UDH, standard, which supports SRAM full-mount drivetrains

The current Áspero frameset supports three bottle-cage positions and is compatible with a direct-mount top-tube bag. This gives riders additional capacity for long gravel events without relying entirely on traditional strapped-on bags.

Áspero adapts to the needs of the rider. For 1x drivetrains it can support up to a 52T chainring with a 47.5mm chainline and up to a 46T with a 45mm chainline. For 2x drivetrains, Áspero can support up to a 52T chainring with a 44.5mm chainline.

Compared with the previous generation, the current Áspero adds a threaded bottom bracket, cleaner cable routing, a UDH-compatible derailleur hanger, improved aerodynamics, dropped seat stays, additional mud clearance, and an overall 3 watt drag reduction over the previous generation.
