We designed the T5GB in conjunction with British Cycling, bringing together world-leading experts to create the stiffest and most aerodynamic frame that we have ever built. Hundreds of hours of wind tunnel analysis, stress testing, and computer simulation were devoted to its creation. The result? Eleven medals at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. This is truly a frameset for the best.

Most bikes have to trade off aerodynamics (narrow is good) for stiffness (wide is good). We exceeded both parameters in the T5GB. With the use of the highest performance materials available, combined with all of our aerodynamics and structural knowledge, we created our stiffest and most aerodynamic frame ever.

No Wasted Effort

The T5GB is the stiffest bike we have ever built. A combination of material, shape, and lay up are used to engineer the desired stiffness of different parts of the frame. For the T5GB we reinforced the stiffness of the head tube and the bottom bracket, so that more of your power goes into turning the rear wheel.

  • The bottom bracket stiffness is up to 410 N/mm - almost double our previous stiffest bike.
  • The head tube inertia stiffness value of up to 162 Nm/deg is almost 50% higher than our typical road bikes.
