Dalla prima maglia iridata conquistata da Marianne Vos all'esordio della R5-CX, al dominio di Wout Van Aert nelle gare della kerstperiode, fino al triplo titolo mondiale consecutivo di Fem Van Empel dal 2023 al 2025: la R5-CX ha portato a casa più podi e vittorie per gara di qualsiasi altra bici da noi mai realizzata. È l'ideale platonico della bici da ciclocross: essenziale, efficiente e incredibilmente veloce. Ha uno spazio passaggio ruota enorme per la gestione del fango, un reggisella che non si gira in caso di caduta e un passaggio cavi interno estremamente pulito per proteggere la trasmissione dagli elementi atmosferici.
IL TELAIO DA CX DEFINITIVO
Il reggisella con profilo a D (con doppio collarino di serie) non solo aumenta il comfort, ma è stato espressamente richiesto da Wout e Marianne per evitare che la sella ruoti di lato in caso di caduta. Tutti i cavi passano all'interno e il telaio è compatibile esclusivamente con gruppi elettronici, così da limitare al massimo l'ingresso di sporco e acqua.
Three quarter view drawer
R5-CX uses the same D-shaped seatpost as the R5 frame, which was a specific request from World Champions, Marianne Vos and Wout van Aert. It adds a bit of compliance, but also keeps the saddle from twisting in the event of a crash.
The clearance in the R5-CX frame is similar to that of our Áspero gravel bikes, but since cyclocross races mandate a 33mm tire, even the stickiest of mud should clear the frame to help keep you rolling.
