Cav flying at Six Day London

That’s three wins in three days for Mark Cavendish at Six Day London.

Along with teammate Peter Kennaugh, Cavendish is right in the thick of things on his Cervélo T4 (a.k.a. his “baby”). An impressive victory in Thursday's final madison chase event moved the Manx duo to within one lap and two points of Australians Callum Scotson and Cameron Meyer. “Without doubt, we're aiming for the win," Cavendish told the BBC.

A day earlier, Cavendish won the 10km points race, taking a lap with four other teams and earning 38 points at the Lee Valley VeloPark. The competition’s opening day also proved to be victorious for the Manx Missile after he claimed the second 40-lap derny race.

Six Day London continues later today with a slate of five races, including the thrilling Madison Chase, and wraps up on Sunday with the aptly-named Final Chase.
