Von Marianne Vos’ Regenbogentrikot im ersten Jahr des R5-CX über Wout van Aerts Dominanz in den Schlammschlachten der Kerstperiode bis hin zu Fem van Empels Dreifach-Triumph bei den Weltmeisterschaften von 2023 bis 2025: Das R5-CX liefert mehr Siege und Podiumsplätze pro Rennen ab als jedes andere Bike, das wir je gebaut haben. Es ist das ultimative Ideal eines Cyclocross-Rads – schnörkellos, effizient und verdammt schnell. Dazu kommen extrem viel Reifenfreiheit für Matsch und Schlamm, eine Sattelstütze, die sich selbst bei einem Sturz nicht verdreht, und eine aufgeräumte, interne Zugverlegung, die Wind und Wetter absolut keine Chance lässt.
DER ULTIMATIVE CX-RAHMEN
Die D-förmige Sattelstütze (serienmäßig mit Doppelklemmung) sorgt nicht nur für spürbaren Komfort, sondern war ein ausdrücklicher Wunsch von Wout und Marianne – damit der Sattel auch nach einem Sturz garantiert gerade bleibt. Alle Züge verlaufen komplett im Rahmen, und der Rahmen ist ausschließlich mit elektronischen Schaltgruppen kompatibel, damit Dreck und Wasser gar nicht erst ins Innere gelangen.

R5-CX uses the same D-shaped seatpost as the R5 frame, which was a specific request from World Champions, Marianne Vos and Wout van Aert. It adds a bit of compliance, but also keeps the saddle from twisting in the event of a crash.
The clearance in the R5-CX frame is similar to that of our Áspero gravel bikes, but since cyclocross races mandate a 33mm tire, even the stickiest of mud should clear the frame to help keep you rolling.
