Cervélo Bigla Pro Cycling
Cervélo became a title sponsor of the Cervélo Bigla UCI Women's team at the start of the 2016 season with the goal of building on the strong history of success in women's road racing. The team has certainly done that, with multiple wins on the UCI Women's WorldTour as well as a bronze medal in the team time trial at the 2017 Road Cycling World Championships.
Cervélo Bigla is led by South African rider, Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio. Ashleigh describes how she sees bike riding as an opportunity for challenge, growth, and empowerment: "Through my cycling career ... I believe I have become a strong woman and I hope to inspire other women to do the same."
The Cervélo Bigla team has racked up an impressive number of podium finishes, including Ashleigh's second place at the 2018 Giro Rosa (the only Grand Tour in women's cycling), Cecile Uttrup Ludwig winning the 2017 WorldTour youth classification, and sprinter Lotta Lepistö's victory in the Gent-Wevelgem and a stage win at the 2018 Giro Rosa.
The team rides bikes from Cervélo's classic road R Series, aero road S Series, and time trial P Series.
