| What is your product development goal for 2009? | | I really look forward to using the new Quarq CinQo power measurement system. I have used other power systems in the past, so I am keen to try this new system for recording and analyzing my cycling data. |
| When you knew you wanted to be a pro? | | After doing several road races in Australia, I became addicted to the sport. I have always believed I can be anyone or do anything I wanted if I worked hard enough at it, so I decided to go for it. |
| What is your favourite training ride? | | I love riding around Lake Lucerne in Switzerland. For a relaxing ride, the views are amazing as you ride along the lake with the snow capped mountains behind. |
| What is your all time favourite cycling moment? | | 2003 Tour de France, Lance Armstrong attacks Ullrich on the climb after crashing twice. |
| What is your favourite ride of all time? | | So far it has been winning the Australian National TT Championship in 2007. I had worked so hard for it, but never considered that I had a chance of winning the title. A close friend had just died from a cycling accident in Australia, so it was very overwhelming. |

This race was held in Boise, Idaho - my hometown. It was the most challenging and fun athletic event I had ever done. From then on....I was hooked on cycling. |
| What is your favourite training ride? | | My favourite trainikng ride is Bogus Basin. The ride starts in the Boise valley around 2800 feet, and climbs to just over 6000 feet in just under 15 miles. There are lots of switchbacks and once you reach the top you can see the Boise Valley below. This ride also served as my training course for the Beijing Olympic Time Trial. It is a gold medal ride! |
| What is your all time favourite cycling moment? | | Tour de France, Stage 15, 2003. Lance Armstrong crashed during the finish of the 15th stage of the 2003 Tour. His handlebars snagged a musette bad held by a young boy, causing both him and Iban Mayo to go down. Jan Ullrich waited for Armstrong, the overall Tour leader, to remount and continue riding. Armstrong immediately got back on his bike and with a rush of adrenaline rode to win the stage, increasing his lead to 1:07. |
