Haussler takes second again, Bos fourth
Cervélo TestTeam's Heinrich Haussler posted another second place result while teammate Theo Bos placed fourth in the fourth stage today of the Tour of Qatar. The 146.5km stage from The Pearl to Al Khor Corniche again ended in a bunch sprint. Bos opened the sprint but it was Francesco Chicchi (Team Liquigas) who crossed the finish line first ahead of Haussler and Juan Jose Haedo (Saxo Bank). Wouter Mol (Topsport Vlaanderen) held on to the overall lead in the race.

"Once again there was no wind to speak of today," said Jens Zemke, Sports Director. "The race was marked again by the days' breakaway, a small one of 3 riders; Martin Kohler (BMC), Jesse Sergent (Trek Livestrong) and Sep Vanmarcke (Topsport Vlaanderen), who took all the intermediate sprint points. With 14 kilometres to go, we took the 3 riders back and than the final started. We tried to bring Heinrich to the best position possible and he ended up in second."

"Like the past two days it was a crazy final," said Haussler. "Before the last roundabout I had a perfect position but then we had a sudden gust of strong wind and all the teams came from the side. At that point I was far back in the bunch and I tried to put myself in a good position again. Roger (Hammond) and Theo (Bos) prepared the sprint for me today but they didn't know that I wasn't there.

Theo thought that I was on his wheel but I had to come from the back and though I tried to come close to Chicchi, he was already too far. The team worked really well but I was too far back. But tomorrow is another opportunity and we will keep on going."
