Slappendel rides to impressive solo win

Iris Slappendel (NED) claimed a solo victory today in the sixth and last stage of the 23rd International Thüringen Rundfahrt over 134.5 km around Zeulenroda in a racing time of 3:50.26h. The Dutch Cervélo TestTeam rider clearly won with an advantage of 1.34 ahead of Trixi Worrack (Noris Cycling) from Germany and Andrea Bosman (NED - Netherlands National Team). Olga Zabelinskaja (RUS - Safi-Pasta Zara) saved her overall victory with her 18th spot in the peloton while Iris Slappendel moved into the overall ranking with her solo win ranked 8th, 7.48 behind Zabelinskaja. read more

Cervélo TestTeam concludes successful Tour

Cervélo TestTeam concluded a successful 2010 Tour de France with a mass sprint down the Champs-Élysées.  Norwegian national champion Thor Hushovd (NOR) kicked to seventh place today and finished third in the green points jersey competition. Mark Cavendish (GBR) won the stage and Alberto Contador (SPA) won the overall title. read more

Düster claims stage 5 victory at Thüringen Rundfahrt

German native Sarah Düster won the 5th stage today of the International Thüringen Rundfahrt. The Cervélo TestTeam rider completed the final sprint of the 115 km course around Schmölln and the jury gave her first place over Hanka Kupfernagel (GER - German National Team) and the Dutch Adrie Visser (THC Columbia) who placed third. The Russian Olga Zabelinskaja (Safi-Pasta Zara) remains the leader in the overall ranking.             read more

Konovalovas 4th in TT

Cervélo's Ignatas Konovalovas (LTU) posted an excellent result in Saturday's 52 km individual time trial to confirm he could have a bright future in three-week stage races. read more

Hushovd cedes green jersey  

Cervélo's Thor Hushovd (NOR) crossed the 14th in Friday's 198km Salies-de-Béarn to Bordeaux and ceded the green jersey to Alessandro Petacchi (ITA). read more
