Haute Alpes, France August 15th, 2010 - A rare rest for the team last weekend has worked wonders as a small squad of athletes lined up for perhaps THE toughest Ironman distance race in the world. Just two weeks after tackling the Alpe D'Huez there were exceptional repeat performances and outstanding first time Embrunman results for the whole team.

Starting off with the women, Tereza Macel (CZE) was a last minute entry after getting the nod from coach. With little time to worry about the grueling challenge ahead T-Mac obliterated the women's field coming home in 1st in a time of 11:20:10, almost 40 minutes ahead of second place.

How did she do it? Swimming like a fish in 48:15 to exit in the lead pack, then riding her bike over the 188 kilometer mountainous course in 6:45:20 and finally she completed the race, running home in 3:42:01.

Bella Bayliss (GBR) with many fond memories of last year's win Bella Bayliss (GBR), finished in 4th. Her splits: 56:36 swim, 7:03:31 bike, 3:53:00 run for a total time of 11:58:17.

In the men's race, James Cunamma (RSA), the winner of Alpe D'Huez, backed up his performance with an outstanding 2nd place. Only two athletes went under 10 hours and that was the winner and James. With a swim of 49:05 he posted the fastest bike split of the day in 5:52:50 and then ran the marathon in 3:00:33 to take the runners up place in 9:45:46.

Teammate Stephen Bayliss rounded out the top five crossing the line in 10:22:40. His 46:44 swim split was equal to the fastest of the day.
