TEAMTBB’s Spindler and Reisler take first in Cologne 226 triathlon

Cologne, Germany, September 5th, 2010 - The European triathlon season will soon be coming to a close and for teamTBB it has been a wonderfully fruitful season. This weekend saw two of the team's resident German athletes; Jo Spindler and the German teamTBB development athlete Diana Riesler compete in the iron distance Cologne 226 triathlon.

With the majority of European races on hilly courses, Cologne was a departure from the norm with its relatively flat bike and run course.

Both athletes had a great outing with each taking 1st place.

Jo Spindler had a swim of 1:03:15, bike of 4:41:19 and run of 2:50:13 to cross the line in 8:40:45.

Diana Reisler had a swim of 0:59:07, bike of 4:54:18 and ran the marathon in 3:11:23 to cross the line in 9:10:28.
