Amy Marsh wins Challenge Vichy!

August 22, 2011 - Filed under: teamTBB
Amy pulled off a big win at Challenge Vichy! Following a quick turnaround from her disappointment at Wiesbaden last week, Amy nabbed the top spot of the podium in very challenging conditions. As usual, Amy's swim crushed the competition, she dominated the bike, and finished with a great run. Amy is in exceptional form and after her win in Vichy this now brings Amy's total to 6 Irondistance career wins. We expect her to build on this to have another amazing result in Kona; the other pro women should be scared!

Elsewhere in Lausanne Switzerland, Felicity Abram had her best result yet racing for teamTBB with a great 10th place result at the sprint distance world champs this Saturday. Just down the road from teamTBB's Leysin training base in Lausanne, Flick showed she has some serious wheels. She battled it out against a stacked field of the top women on the ITU circuit. Building on her solid race in London at the Olympic test event and with this top finish, Flick is coming into form just in time for next month's ITU WCS Grand Finale event in Beijing. If she were to take a top finish next month, Flicka could make the job of the Aussie Olympic team selectors very hard.
