The 2011 Bike Line-Up
In 1996, we brought the aero concept to road bikes. Our unparallelled experience helps us engineer the “S-series” bikes which are not only faster but without sacrificing its other qualities: strong, stiff, comfortable and light. No wonder it’s the only aero bike raced on the cobblestones.
Bikes encounter a complex set of loadcases, from sprinting to climbing and from cornering to descending. Each cross section of the “R-Series” Squoval road bikes is engineered to optimize strength, stiffness, comfort and low weight in every situation.
Our Triathlon/Time trial bikes have won more pro races than any other. And they are by far the most popular bikes at Ironman and time trial events for regular customers. No wonder they became the most copied bikes in history.
Superior stiffness for sprints and the best aerodynamics for pursuit events – all at weights previously unheard of on the track. Our range of track bikes delivers performance whatever the discipline or your performance level.
The R5ca is what happens when you put all of that knowledge in a frame and let the engineers build it inside the research facility.
The R5 is one of the lightest frames in the world, but it is no lightweight. Because Cervélo does not lower its stiffness and strength standards for its lighter frames, the R5 boasts incredibly high test scores, but at an even lower weight than the R3.
The original R3 has set the standard for lightweight yet stiff, strong and comfortable frames over the past five years. Its super-thin seatstays, Squoval tube shapes and in-house developed layup were a major leap forward in frame design.
Andreas Klier of the Cervélo Test Team said the RS is the "very, very, very, very, very, very best bike" he’s ever ridden in Paris-Roubaix, the world’s toughest bike race for equipment; proof that the RS is indeed light, stiff yet comfortable and strong.
With victories from cobblestone Tour stages to mass sprints to the World Championships, the S3 is Thor Hushovd’s favorite bike. Aero road bikes seem to be a "trend" nowadays, but for Cervélo and its riders, they are the essence of what we do.
The S2 is the pioneer of carbon fiber aero road frames and already has the reputation for being the ultimate pro bike. That’s not surprising, given its long list of victories.
Our most affordable full-aero road bike, Bicycling calls the S1 "the fastest, most storied bike in the world" in this price range.
While outlandish claims fly in the world of "superbikes", the quiet redesign of the P4 keeps it firmly atop the ranks for the ultimate in TT/Tri bike design.
OK, so this bike has won more time trials and triathlons than any other in history – by a country mile. But more importantly, it is the most used bike at Ironman racing and time trialing ever – by "regular" customers.
Just counting the number of P2s raced at Ironman Hawaii and excluding all other models, Cervelo would have won the 2010 Kona Bike count (the unofficial "world championships for triathlon bike manufacturers").
For the past 6 years, Cervélo has been the dominant choice for triathletes and time-trialers worldwide. The P1 offers everything that makes Cervélo so popular at an unbeatable price.
Dominating the Points race in Beijing, the T3 Track took five of the top-10 spots, including Gold and Silver. In the Team Pursuit, Denmark took Silver on the same bike.
The aluminum T1 is quickly changing perceptions of what a world class track frame should be. While over 500 grams lighter than most well-known carbon track frames, its torsional and BB stiffness are matched by no other.
