Cascade Bicycle Studio

Cascade Bicycle Studio has just moved to a new location and we couldn’t be happier.  To celebrate the new studio, CBS is holding a “Day of Roubaix” ride on April 7th, 2013.  The day kicks off at 9am with a Roubaix style ride from the Studio and returns by 11am for a viewing of the 111th Queen of the Classics: the Paris-Roubaix.  Riders will be treated to the use of a bicycle and wheel demos.  And there is no better way to test out that new Cervélo you may have had your eye on.

Nestled in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood, CBS is a relaxed environment that is rich in bicycle culture yet attitude free.  We are welcoming and enjoy working with cyclists of varied abilities and interests.  And the Day of Roubaix event is a great way to enjoy cycling to the fullest. The ride will be a mass-start event along a carefully researched route of cobblestones around the neighborhood of Queen Anne. The ride is neither a race, nor a group ride and will be self-led; riders will be provided cue sheets unveiling the cobbled route.

Seattle cyclists have waited patiently for an organized ride to celebrate Paris-Roubaix and we are thrilled to offer riders a fantastic option.  In addition to providing a clear and concise route map with various sections of cobblestones, we will be offering product demos for riders to test throughout the ride.

Paris-Roubaix is know as one of the greatest single day tests in all of sport.  Its infamy comes from sections of historic cobble roads.  Riding on cobbles is like a right of passage for most road cyclists and is a true test of what a bike can handle.  If you ever wondered if a bike will be comfortable in all riding conditions, there isn’t a better way to answer that question.  The Day of Roubaix is a truly unique test ride experience.

Our bicycle sales process with Cervélo begins with a methodical and proven test ride and bicycle fitting protocol. Each one of our four staff members are trained to conduct a preliminary bicycle fitting for a test ride. Our bicycle fitting staff have a broad range of fitting experience from Olympians to bicycle commuters; we’ve conducted literally thousands of bicycle fittings.

All fitting data is kept on file for future reference.   When a Cervélo is purchased from Cascade Bicycle Studio, we offer our $200 professional bicycle fitting service at no charge, whether the bicycle is the entry level R3, or the newest Cervélo RCA.

So if you are in Seattle and looking for a chance to swing your leg over a new Cervélo, you can not miss this unique event.
