A professional triathlete since 2004, teamTBB member Stephen Bayliss is married to fellow triathlete Bella Bayliss. Best known for his “uncanny resemblance to Freddy Mercury”, Bayliss, 33, has participated in 24 Ironman races and has finished in the top five in most of them. The three-time Ironman champion was extremely proud to participate in the Ironman Lanzarote in May alongside his wife, her first Ironman since giving birth last year. Bayliss finished in second position, and said, “I was extra happy to see Bella doing so well in her first Ironman after giving birth to baby Charlie - I am very proud of her!” Bayliss joined teamTBB in 2007, and dutifully maintains his athlete’s blog although he thinks it is “of most interest to my parents, who I must email more!” Once he’s done catching up with his folks, we’ll have more from him here.
