Scott DeFilippis, nicknamed "The Animal," is a 32-year-old American who came to triathlons from a running background, having run track and cross-country at university. DeFilippis has been a member of teamTBB for the past three years, and his favorite quote is, "People with character do the right thing, not because they think it will change the world, but because they refuse to be changed by the world."
