It’s unsurprising that Canadian professional triathlete Miranda Tomenson-Bharadwai's favorite song is "I Won't Back Down" by Tom Petty, because she’s been involved in sports all her life. From soccer as a kid to swimming in high school and college, Tomenson-Bharadwai was on track to one day competing in triathlons. In 2012, she decided to take a break from her full-time job in science and pursue her passion for triathlon and compete professionally. She came first in the 2012 Kingston Long Course triathlon, and we'll keep you updated on her progress.
