Triathlete Joanna Lawn, 35, began her professional career as a cyclist in 1995 in her native New Zealand. In 1997, Lawn’s cycling career had a major highlight when she won a gold medal at the 3000m Pursuit New Zealand Cycling Championships. Recognized for her talent, Lawn was then selected to ride for New Zealand at the UCI World Championships in Holland in 1998. A year later, Lawn ran her first marathon and then made her triathlon debut in 2000. We’ll update you with more of Lawn’s latest sporting endeavors soon.
