| Introduction |
| |
|
Few sports can match the excitement of a cycling race, thanks in part because you can watch the riders fly by mere inches away from you. However, once they stand still, it becomes a lot harder to get up-close and personal. Traditionally, because teams only focus on racing, the riders are also expected to focus on their races 100% of the time. But just like eating steak for breakfast, the TestTeam believes that this cycling theory needs an update. That’s why the TestTeam has three equally important goals: Racing, Product Development and Fan access. Of course riders need their rest, as racing is a tough job. But chatting with fans for a few minutes never cost anybody a race (unless they did it just before the finish line instead of after).
Enter TestTeamTrips, where you can get close to the action, and the actors. With the TestTeamTrips, we invite you to get the full pro treatment:
- Travel with us to the greatest cycling races on earth,
- All trips (unless stated otherwise) are limited to 20 guests or less for a nice, intimate atmosphere
- Meet the team,
- Get your own full team kit,
- Try out the team bikes for yourself,
- Get a massage from the soigneur,
- Ride/race on the actual course,
- Watch the TestTeam race over the same course.
Below you will find an overview of the trips we have planned so far. Check back regularly, as more trips will follow.

| Client Feedback |
| |
|
| "Absolutely amazing. I've always wanted to do a cycling tour, and I've done the ultimate. I was shocked to get all the free gifts I received, but most of all, it must have been the people whom I met, the staff were great, my fellow riders were awesome. Nice and small group, it wasn't overwhelming."
---
"Indescribable. Must be experienced to be believed."
---
"The experience is definitely positive. I had no preconceived notion of what it would be like. The Tour de France and Cervélo's first invitation makes this a memorable event, a part of sports history. I felt like Gerard was treating all of us like guests. The support team of Brits made it all very good, actually entertaining and informative."
---
"The bikes we were riding and where we were riding them were reason enough for the trip. Access to the team was just icing on the cake."
---
"It has taken a few days to sink in how special the experience was last week-end with you in Flanders. As I reflect on it, I can only say, it really was fabulous. Dining with the riders, indeed at the same table, unheard of in pro cycling, was a treat. Roger Hammond, next to whom I sat, was quite open in his views and had interesting things to say. A charming guy. (And then on Sunday he was in that small break first into the feed zone-what fun.) The sportive was a great aperitif (or perhaps main course) before the real racing on Sunday: and riding the newest, cobbled race-spec'd, Cervélo bikes, a highlight, and one aspect that no commercial tour offering can match-along with meeting with the founder, meeting with the pro riders, and wearing the pro kit. Clad in full Cervélo kit-one almost felt one had the legs of a pro rider. (At least for a 100 metres or so.) It was a fun group to be around, and I really appreciated the time Gerard personally spent with us."
---
“Thank you so very much for an extraordinary adventure in Italy. The time in Gabicce with the team was inspiring; climbing in the Dolomites was enlightening; getting so close to the race on Stage 15 was downright thrilling. On top of all this, your generosity went beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. Again, thank you for the opportunity to share in this experience. It is certainly unparalleled.”
---
“I just wanted to thank you again for what you did for all of us. I have never been on such a trip, and I will be talking about it for years to come. Everyone on your team was so kind and helpful and funny to be around.”
---
“It was very well-organized and there was nothing to complain (maybe we got too many presents). It was a great experience for me. The first time to climb in the high mountains and to “die” 3k from the finish was totally new for me!”
---
“Words cannot describe it, this was the best trip I have ever been on.”
---
"Absolutely amazing. It was a trip of a lifetime that I want to do every year."

| NEW! Tour of Flanders 2010 |
| |
|
Cobbles and climbs, the Tour of Flanders is one of the toughest Classics of the year. And this country is completely mad for cycling, so expect the most exciting and knowledgeable spectators you’ll find anywhere. Of course, the weather isn’t always the best, but that is part of the fun. And with an amateur version of the race on the schedule the day before the pro race (options for 70/140 or the full 260km), you’ll get a real taste of what the race is like.
Join the TestTeam and Cervélo co-founder Gerard Vroomen on this amazing trip. Says Gerard: “If I had to choose between visiting a Spring Classic or a Grand Tour, I would probably choose the Classic. The extreme conditions make it so heroic, and you can see the race several times in one day. Last but not least, you can actually help the team by being part of a spare wheel crew, which is very exciting (you just pray they don’t flat right in front of you so you don’t actually have to change a wheel on live TV).
